❃ Ankylosaurus was a herbivore, and its teeth are adapted for grinding plant matter. It is believed to have lived in groups, and its armor would have made it difficult for predators to take down an individual.
❃ It was first discovered in 1906, by a man named Barnum Brown. Brown discovered several fossils of Ankylosaurus, which he then sent to the American Museum of Natural History.
❃ It was a very slow moving dinosaur. This was clearly as a result of the heavy armor that it wore. The Ankylosaurus could probably only move about three miles per hour.
